Day 1
Arrival Kilimanjaro / Tarangire National Park / Karatu

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport with meet & greet by our representative and embark on the drive to Tarangire National Park. Immediately commence a game viewing drive in the park known for its big Baobab trees and huge number of elephants.
Later, enjoy hot bush lunch set up in the park.
In the evening, drive to Karatu town for dinner and overnight at the selected lodge or similar.
Tarangire National Park is one of northern Tanzania's hidden gems, celebrated for its vast elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as a vital refuge for animals during the dry season, when thousands of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes gather along its banks. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are also frequently spotted, while more than 550 bird species make the park a paradise for birdwatchers.
The park's varied landscapes of open savannah, acacia woodlands, river valleys, and seasonal wetlands create a stunning backdrop for unforgettable game drives. Offering a quieter and more exclusive safari experience than many of Tanzania's busier parks, Tarangire is the perfect destination for visitors seeking spectacular wildlife encounters, breathtaking scenery, and an authentic taste of Africa's untamed wilderness.
Day 2
Karatu / Lake Manyara National Park / Karatu

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park and commence a game viewing drive on arrival.
Later, enjoy a Treetops Walkway which takes you on a sky-high adventure through the beautiful forest of Lake Manyara.
Proceed to Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural immersion where you will enjoy a guided walk in the village with lunch at a local restaurant.
Drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight at the selected lodge or similar.
The experience continues with a visit to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, one of Tanzania's most culturally diverse communities, where more than 120 ethnic groups live together. A guided village tour offers an authentic glimpse into local life, with opportunities to explore farms, local markets, artisan workshops, and traditional homes while learning about the area's rich cultural heritage. Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, renowned for its lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and other waterbirds. The park is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions. A highlight of the visit is the Treetop Walkway, Tanzania's first canopy walks, where suspended bridges offer a unique perspective of the forest and the chance to observe birds, butterflies, and monkeys high above the ground.
Day 3
Karatu / Ngorongoro Crater / Karatu

Early breakfast at the lodge, afterwards, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area; on arrival immediately descend to the crater floor for a crater tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the World, due to its size and diversity, the base of the crater consists of several distinct regions, ranging from forests, marshes, lakes and springs to open grasslands and some sand dunes.
Lunch will be picnic.
After the visit, exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive back to the Karatu Highlands for dinner and overnight at the selected lodge or similar.
Part of the Serengeti- Mara Ecosystem, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers an area of 8, 280 sq Km. An area of outstanding natural beauty, indeed one of the most breathtaking in the whole of Africa, the Ngorongoro area embraces rolling fertile green hills covered with flowers during the rainy season, while in the sheltered valleys and plains, Clusters of villages that are the home of the red-robed Maasai herdsmen, fierce in the protection of their prized cattle and traditions, abound. Forests, rivers, lakes and swamps, the silent silhouettes of mountain and volcanic craters, including some of the oldest in Africa These extinct volcanoes, whose past activity contributed to the landscape and lush vegetation of Ngorongoro as well as that of the nearby Serengeti plains, include Lemagrut, Sadiman, Oldeani, Olmoti, Sirua, Lolmalasin and Empakaai, always a favourite with hikers, and last but not least, the Ngorongoro Crater- a World Heritage Site. Heading out of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and out towards the Serengeti, we find the Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site.
Day 4
Karatu / Depart

Breakfast at the Lodge.
Afterwards, return drive to Arusha to arrive in the afternoon.
Dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

- We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability
- Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.
- Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris
- All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights
- Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Passengers arriving in Kenya and Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
